Hi, I'm Shani, enthusiastic social media angel and daughter for Moni!
I would like to tell you about my special experience from my Vienna trip.
5 days Vienna. Castles, music, schnitzel, pastries, hospitality, and many rays of sunshine have met us. By us I mean, my love, Jorge and me. We are rather the " Hippie-Kind-of-Couple" and like to travel through the whole wide world. Even more I was surprised to hear since the beginning of the trip: "Quiero ir al Champagner Brunch del Hotel Imperial y comer como Kaiser Franz..." translated as: I want to go to the Champagne Brunch at the Hotel Imperial and dine like Emperor Franz! I somehow didn't really buy Jorge's story until Sunday morning when I looked at the clock, fully asleep and slightly hungover, and panicked because the hotel breakfast was about to be over after all. "Relax, our champagne brunch doesn't start until 12..." Ok, slowly I started to believe him.
A moment later we are standing in the lobby of the Hotel Imperial. An enchanting sight, like a princess I felt. We were asked if we had a reservation and quite by chance, we even had one, in the VIP area...I felt that something was up. Jorge, on the other hand, was more relaxed than ever.
After the extravagant brunch, suddenly a young man came to our table "Hello Afshan, Hello Jorge, I am Orlando." All of a sudden, the two started talking in Spanish. What is going on here.... Orlando, Sales Executive of the hotel wants to take us on a hotel tour. Wow, what a surprise! I grabbed the camera and action cam and was ready for business. We walked through the imperial chambers of Duke Phillip of Württemberg and Archduchess Marie Therese of Austria. Each suite topped the suite before it. Arriving in front of the Royal Suite, we stopped, and Orlando asked if he could film our reaction. Ok, why not? And that's when the door opened...
The stunning suite was decorated with red heart balloons and rose petals. Not to forget - champagne!
Ok, me with my tourist outfit had to put down my bag and camera first. And that's when he got down on one knee and took out the ring.
I was so excited that tears came immediately. Of course, I said YES!
Very quickly I took my costume jewellery off my fingers and Jorge put the ring on me. Now I really felt like a princess...!
Orlando left us alone and we toasted to our new life together. In the background, of course, we listened to Mozart....
And so, a weekend trip turned into one of the most beautiful moments of our lives! Thank you, Dear Orlando, for all the effort and creativity and just for everything you planned for our special day together with my future husband.
And of course, dear thanks also to the hotel team who made our day perfect!
The pictures say more than 1000 words.
“Because he believes in miracles, miracles begin to happen. Because he is sure that his thoughts can change his life, his life begins to change. Because he is certain that he will find love, love appears.”
